Day 1
Arrival at the selected accommodation and check-in.
Possible Free visit to the center of Magione. Birthplace of Friar John of Pian del Carpine, who visited Mongolia before Marco Polo, and visit to the Castle of the Knights of Malta whose original nucleus was built in the mid-12th century, not far from the important road axis between Perugia, Trasimeno and Tuscany.
Stroll along the San Feliciano lakefront and tasting of typical lake products with possible visit to the Fishing Museum recommended restaurant da Settimio or Rosso di Sera (to be reserved upon request).
Day 2
Breakfast and departure for Monte del Lago, one of the most beautiful villages overlooking Lake Trasimeno that retains a charm all its own and, in summer sunsets, offers visitors breathtaking views and colors. Possible visit to the Palombaro oil mill with tasting and place where the "Festival of Correspondences" takes place every year in the first
days of the month of September.
TRASIMENO PARK short walkable stretch near San Savino, with a visit to the site of Zoppitelli's Canna Palustre Processing and the village of San Savino.
Walk to Mugnano, the "Village of Painted Walls" and with the presence of an ancient Benedictine abbey, and visit to Fontignano, with the Tomb and last frescoes of Perugino, "Divin Pittore," whose 500th death anniversary is being celebrated. Visit and tasting ( not included ) to "Centumbrie" and Agello, with a tour of the village.
Overnight stay.
Day 3
Breakfast at hotel and departure by group bus MAGIONE / CARDINAL HILL Departure and return to Mortorio Hill.
New fun experience discovering the hilly territory between Magione and Monte Tezio. Not too challenging itinerary with the possibility of nice stops including one at the Villa del Cardinale or at a beautiful winery for a guided tasting of excellent products in Magione.
Possibility of tasting with reservation at L'agriturismo la Casa di Campagna with visit to the Sant'Arcangelo farm, visit to the ancient Abbey and return to San Feliciano with ferry boarding to Isola Polvese. Visit to the Island, main attractions and the Rocca. Return for aperitif at Zocco Beach and Dinner at farmhouse with typical products.
Overnight stay.
Day 4
Breakfast and ceck out Recommended visit to Pucciarella Farm, with the possibility of tasting and brunch in total relaxation, in a context rich in history and medieval suggestions with the possibility of purchasing typical products.
At facility with characteristics of a 3-star hotel, village or farmhouse.
